The original STANSTED system, these popular original bench top systems developed with the UK NIMR offer an extensive range of versatile budget solutions for research applications. A special feature of these models is the modular design which allows a number of easily interchangeable disruption/homogenisation valves and pressure instruments to be used with a single primary pump. This flexibility, allowing users to change configuration in a few minutes, is especially applicable where a single system is required to be shared amongst groups working with different cell types. An extensive range of valves are available with a complimentary range of pressure gauges ensuring optimum control resolution and instrumentation for all applications.
Systems are supplied complete with disruption/homogenisation valve and appropriately scaled pressure gauge. Additional valves and gauges are optionally available. For optimum performance and control valves should be used in the operating pressure ranges indicated in the table opposite. Where required systems may be further enhanced by addition of optional items; these include inlet heat exchanger, outlet heat exchanger, small volume inlet devices, temperature indicators, spares packages....etc. For full details of available option and technical advice contact SFP or your local sales representative.
Stansted 'nm-GEN 7400' Models
A fully featured pneumatically operated bench top model suitable for primary research and development.
The systems are built into a brushed stainless steel enclosure with hinged access door, rubber feet and carrying handle. The homogenising valve incorporates a ceramic valve needle and seat combination can be adjusted for operation between 10 & 100% of maximum system pressure. The valve includes a temperature conditioning jacket. Valve operates with pressure balanced actuator which allow the valves to adjust their position to maintain the set operating pressure irrespective of fluid flow or viscosity. The operating pressure may be monitored on the associated pressure indicator gauge.
